Wisconsin Forest Tales

Wisconsin Forest Tales is a historical fiction book in which author Julia Pferdehirt and illustrator Pamela Harden share glimpses of forest history and life over the past 150 years. The book was produced through a partnership between the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin; Learning, Experiences and Activities in Forestry (LEAF), Wisconsin’s K-12 forestry education program; and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources-Division of Forestry. Funding was provided by the Wisconsin DNR-Division of Forestry; a 2003-2004 grant from the Wisconsin Environmental Education Board; and LEAF.
