CONFERENCE PROGRAM

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Trees and River

It is important that those who are in a position to influence forestry issues are present at the conference. Therefore a diverse set of stakeholders have been targeted to attend the conference to facilitate dialogue across issues.

You should attend the Governor’s Conference on Forestry if you have a vested interest in the sustainability of Wisconsin’s forests and can help develop strategies, commit to action, or leverage resources to address critical forestry issues. This conference will bring together leaders from:

  • State, Local and Federal Government
  • Native American Tribes
  • Universities
  • Professional Associations
  • Forest-based Industries
  • Environmental Groups
  • Forest Landowners
  • Conservation Groups

Leaders of these groups are encouraged to identify other individuals from their organizations or partner groups who could bring value to the dialogue and contribute to the development of action plans. Anyone who wishes to attend is invited to register.
